OUR STORY

Founded in 2016 by Laci Swann, Sharp Editorial began with a simple belief: every voice deserves to be heard with precision, authenticity, and purpose.

 

What started as a one-woman operation grew to a team of three within six months. Today, Sharp Editorial is a collective of dedicated writers, designers, and strategists who share a passion for transforming ideas into impact.

 

Our founder’s journey spans continents and disciplines. Laci holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s in English from Florida State University, a Master’s in Publishing from George Washington University, and a PhD in English (Culture, Media, and Literature) from FSU—home to one of the nation’s top-ranked programs. Her background bridges scholarship and strategy, allowing her to approach every project with both depth and direction.

 

After nearly a decade living and working across Europe, she returned to the U.S. with a mission: to create a firm that treats every client like a partner, not a project number.
